Last week, Shona from the Green Acre Marketing team had the pleasure of taking part in the LEAP 2026 Showcase as a judge. 👏

Pictured (L-R) alongside Shona are Tamara Sheehan, LEO Business Advisor and Clodagh Fahy from Sun Life 📸

Delivered in partnership with the Waterford Local Enterprise Office , the LEAP programme has introduced more than 2,000 primary school students across Waterford to the world of entrepreneurship. The showcase gives these young innovators the chance to pitch their ideas to judges from a range of local businesses.

It's always a fantastic experience to attend these events, and the creativity, confidence and enthusiasm shown by the students is truly inspiring. 😄✨

Today some of the GAM team spent the morning in Cuffesgrange at supporting clients and capturing content. 📸

It was also a great opportunity to connect with familiar (and new!) faces while enjoying some brilliant demos in the sunshine! 🌞🌞

Yesterday, the team at Green Acre Marketing had the pleasure of hosting Ciara McPhilips who is a participant on the CreateHER initiative. This is a programme run out of the GrowthHub in SETU aimed at opening students’ minds to the possibility of developing entrepreneurial skills to lead or create a business now, or in their future careers. 📝

A huge amount of credit goes to the project lead Dr. Margaret Tynan, who dedicates so much time in fostering entrepreneurship and giving students an incredible opportunity to not only visualise life after their initial college education but to plant the seeds of entrepreneurship and show young women that they too can look to a future where they can grow their own. 🌱
