🌬️🌩️Storm Update🌧️🌬️
Important notice : Storm Bram
❗️Met Eireann have issued a status orange wind warning across the country until 4pm today with local flooding also possible.
Our team are monitoring the network throughout the day and we are working hard to limit any issues the storm may cause.
🛜Please see below guidelines if you lose connection
Please do not reset your router if there is an orange/red light on the router its a connection problem and it will be restored once the team have established the cause.
⚠️We advise if the power goes on the router for customers to check ESB power checker as there could be an outage in the area.
🛜Fibre customers - Fibre outages are beyond our control - we are expecting damage to poles and overhead cables but there is nothing we can do but report to the relevant providers, if you do experience any issues please just send us a message and we will raise a ticket.
❗️lastly we ask that all customers take on board the warnings issues by local authorities please be safe and be careful on the roads.

🌬Storm Amy - Weather Update🌬
Met Éireann has issued Status Yellow weather warnings for Friday 3rd October and Saturday 4th October as Storm Amy approaches. The storm is expected to bring strong winds and may cause local disruption, including potential power outages.
⚠️Please be aware this could also affect our services during this period. Our team will be monitoring the situation closely and we’ll keep you updated if there are any significant changes. Our Team will also be ready to act on any damages on Monday after the storm has passed.

❗️CUSTOMER NOTICE❗️
We are currently experiencing issues with our Eir fibre connections which will be causing chaos across the network -
Our teams are working on it with OpenEir and hopefully all connections will be restored ASAP!
Apologies for the inconvenience this will be causing you.

All customers should be back online by now - our phone line is back in action so please get in touch if you are still having issues!
We apologise for the disruption this outage has caused today.

❗️CUSTOMER NOTICE ❗️
We have been made aware of a major power outage in the Ballycotton Area all fibre connections are down due to this - we are working on new routes around the network and hope to have most customers back online asap!
We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused our customers this morning! Please bare with us while we get it resolved!

Powercheck.ie has restoration time as 5pm

‼️🛜 STORM UPDATE 10am Friday

The wireless network remains up with one minor issue which has been resolved 💪

Lots of fibre customers experiencing disruption but we are waiting for updates from the providers (OpenEir & NBI)🛜

ESB estimates over half a million homes farms and businesses without power this morning and could be days before it is restored ⚡️

‼️STORM Éowyn ‼️

As we prepare to face into Storm Éowyn tonight into tomorrow morning we want to provide an update -

WIRELESS 🛜
We have made every effort to ensure the wireless network withstands the high winds expected - power outages are inevitable over the coming hours and we have ensured all batteries are charged and ready to go - generators will be mobilised if necessary when safe for the crews to do so!

FIBRE 🛜
Fibre outages are beyond our control - we are expecting damage to poles and over head cables but there is nothing we can do except report to the relevant providers so please send us a msg with your Eircode if your fibre connection is disrupted so we can get the ball rolling on repairs which we expect to commence immediately after the storm!

❗️We will be monitoring the network overnight and into the morning and will update the page here as much as we can

❗️We don’t expect the team to be in the office first thing - they will be waiting until after the worst of the wind has passed before making the journey - if you call the office and don’t get an answer - we will return all calls as soon as we can!

❗️Lastly, we ask that all customers take on board the warnings issued by local authorities- if you do have to leave your home please do so only if it’s safe and be careful on the roads!

‼️🛜 NBI OUTAGE
We are getting feedback that there has already been disruption to the NBI network for some customers in Ballycotton Youghal Grange Ardmore and across west Cork

NBI field engineers will be doing all they can but we ask that you please have patience while they work through this storm

We will keep this page as up to date over the coming hours
