I miss the late '80s and early '90s — Peter Lindbergh's editorials, Gilles Bensimon's covers, and that feeling of health and joy that seemed to radiate from every page.
I'm not sure if it was real or just a sweet memory, but ever since celebrities took over magazine covers, something stopped sparking for me.
It all started at 15, when I got my first Vogue — then the ELLE with Roberta Chirco on the cover — and eventually grew into a massive collection I donated to Shenkar before flying off to Milan.
What a privilege it is to live now, in an era where I can actually bring all those childhood dreams to life.
