is on a roll!!

This is book number 4 in the Eudora Space Kid series, of which I have had the privilege of design 3 of them. It's illustrated by and is a fun early chapter book for kids who love space, and smart girls who mean well but can't help getting into trouble!! And as always, it's super fun to design (not least because I get to read it while I'm working on it!!)

What have you been reading lately?

Here are some of the books I've been dipping into:

Picture Book: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (classic! And totally weird)

Early Chapter Book: News From Me, Lucy McGee (I think many of us can relate to Lucy and the challenge of learning to stick up for yourself in the face of strong-minded classmates)

Middle Grade: The Great Gilly Hopkins (another classic! and it makes you appreciate those wonderful people who foster kids)

Nonfiction: Story Genius (I LOVE this book. HIGHLY recommend. She has you flesh out your characters so much that you feel you know them by the end of it.)

In a nutshell, offset printing is a printing process that uses different machines and special inks to print your books, and generally cannot be done in small quantities (which is why it is also referred to as bulk printing).
