לני רקנאטי ואורי שקד העומדים בחוד החנית של עולם היין הישראלי, התחילו את המסע כבר בשנת 2000 ומאז הדרך רק משתבחת. צוות הייננים בשיתוף הבעלים חולקים חזון משותף ומלא השראה: להפיק יין מקומי, ישראלי, שיבטא את הטרואר המיוחד של האזור. כמו טביעת אצבע ייחודית האופיינית רק ליינות המופקים ביקב רקנאטי.
