GM plans to deliver a remote software update in coming months to its recently launched Cadillac Lyriq, an electric SUV, that will offer verbal instructions. A passenger’s question on how to set the position of the car’s seats would elicit the answer: “Use the ‘set’ button and one of the two ‘memory’ buttons located on the door panel. Would you like me to walk you through it?”

Hey Tech Writer friends. I am looking for an experienced technical writer or writers; mostly work by remote but also possible to work from one of our offices, or onsite at the client(s), if you prefer to get out of the house (as some do after this crazy past year).
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!
You can work with me full-time (if that is what you need) or part-time, but I need at least a 1/2 time commitment.
The clients and projects range from cybersecurity to privacy, electric vehicle technologies, animal health, over-the-top TV and more. And the documentation can be anywhere from hardcore APIs, SDKS, etc., to things like technical-product-descriptions, process documentation, content for consumption via VUI and more.
You can read about one of our happy customers and see our documentation at the links below. It was so cool - they invited us to their celebration when they were acquired by Palo Alto, less than a year after coming out of stealth, and said that the documentation played an important role in the process.
(Just before the pandemic, another happy client invited all 3 JBS tech writers to join the company for a 3-day trip to Greece!)
