📢 The second installment of the Thrive Center Working Paper Series is out now, and this one focuses on infant and early childhood mental health!
These seven briefs span the care continuum and different scales of impact, both domestically and globally: child care financing, mental health consultation for the providers who see young children every day, virtual consultation for rural communities, a trained peer workforce, integrated local systems, trauma-informed clinical care, and climate.
Together they make one argument: the mental health of a young child is built inside relationships, and those relationships depend on conditions that public policy can nurture or erode.
Each brief is short, and each ends with something a state, a funder, a health system, or a program can act on. Thrive Center Director Matthew Biel introduces the collection.
