I have been taking pictures ever since I was given my Kodak Instamatic for my 7th birthday. If there was something to be photographed, I would take it. I progressed to "proper" photography at college, learning the fundamentals, how to use the camera, develop and process, lighting and studio work under the guidance of Stak who used to do the "Guiness" ads with the Toucan. I realized then that Colle

ge press work was the way in.. I started covering concerts, theatre and sports events, averaging at least four events a week. What great way for a Student to see and do things for free!! Problem was this business is cutthroat, late nights processing pictures and getting them to Fleet Street for deadlines, making appointments to meet A & R guys at record companies, fighting for payments, and of course fitting in my studying. I worked with and for the Music Press and record companies and theatres, but time moved on and gradually digital came to power, and everyone is now a photographer. Anyone can take a picture. Everyone should take pictures, they are your memories embodied on a digital stick. But It's how the picture is taken, how you visualise it, how you control the element of the image, that actually makes the picture. I like to photograph everything, I carry the camera everywhere, because you never know just when that special picture will be there, and if you miss it, you may never have the chance to take it again. It becomes an extension of your eyes, something you can have brief control of. I try to capture that moment, and if you would like me to capture yours, just contact me. :)

Sitting here in isolation I have idly wandered through Facebook seeing friends happenings and events which should gladden the heart and souls of others, yet I am profoundly sickened and upset seeing elitist, white, privileged and ignorant people making comments on others sites, proudly displaying a palestinian flag (which is historically in accurate) and bleating down with the Zionist oppression and all the bu****it that goes with it.
Are they so damned brainwashed by terrorist groups that they cannot understand the lies they are being spun.? The hatred they have manipulated is extreme and these people seem to believe it is the truth.
Yet nothing is said about what is happening in the north from Lebanon.
The North had been decimated.. No outcry.. Today children in a Druze village were killed playing football... How is this legitimate? And you still say it is a Zionist plot??
Of course we can sympathise with the people of Gaza, but they have been so manipulated it is hard to know the truth, but remember, Israel did not start this, and we have the right to defend our people. The same goes for the north yet as that is not a palestinian issue no one is trying to intercède.

Again, hostages have not been returned and they have been rescued from "innocent" civilians houses doctor, journalist so who is at fault?.
Free the hostages now, stop having friends who are supporters of terrorism and who blindly support a regime that they have no comprehension of what river or what sea and don't know what the ultimate desire is.. Nemely to take over the world.
Islam is a religion of discipline and peace which is not upheld but the Muslim leading this revenge and hate.
