Dear Sirs,

All machines produced by N&W Global Vending S.p.A. comply with all applicable European Regulations on materials and articles intended to come in contact with food.

In particular they comply with the EC Regulation 1935/2004, EC Directive 10/2011 (and relative amendments) and EC Regulation 2023/2006.

The conformity to the applicable laws and regulations is also certified in the "CE declaration of conformity" issued by N&W Global.Vending S.p.A.. See example:

The conformity is ensured also for spare part components supplied for the maintenance of the machines, which are manufactured with the same characteristics.

The declaration of conformity is based on the following:
- Declaration(s) of the suppliers of materials, treatments, surface coatings or components used for the manufacture of the machines
- Tests
- Good manufacturing practices procedures

Appropriate documentation in support of the said conformity is available at N&W Global Vending S.p.A.

As an example of test performed for the hydraulic circuit used in your machines, see the attached Test Report issued by an External Competent Evaluation Body.

In particular, the limit of 10 micrograms / liter in the release of lead to the water is the target applied to the machines produced by our Company.

In fact, the brass used in the manufacturing of machines is treated by specific surface treatments to minimise the leakage of lead (so-called "de - lead treatments").

Also, to further reduce risks due to specific environmental conditions (de scaling filters which create acid water, aggressive water, ...) N&W introduced some years ago stainless steel components and boilers instead of the brass ones. These components, used in the current production, are available also as spare for machines in the field.
