Busy 2 days planting out a very spoilt pumpkin plant and building them some strong winter protection.
26c on the day we planted, perfect but winter weather on the way...

Week 4: strong healthy albeit lacking in N + Mg a little. But these spoilt pumpkin plants are off out for a taste of winter this Friday. They out grew their winter home in under 4 weeks !

Week 2 :-) In an experiment, I've seeded one seed (germinated in backgound) and with the help of timed lamps and fans, am hoping to plant this seedling out very early in mid January ! If it works, it could be add serious kilos of pumpkin pie for all. The 2 larger pots will be planted in mid January; for the meantime, they contain an active fungi called MICHRORIZEE. The roots of this fungi attach themselves to the pumpkin roots and thus create a larger root system and help each other to exist and grow healthier and bigger :-)
