היום ה 30 בנובמבר מציינים (ע"פ חוק מ 2014) את הגירוש והיציאה של יהודי ארצות האסלאם בארץ ובעולם.
רבים מכם לא יודעים כלל על קיומו…והוא כל כך רלוונטי וחשוב למה שקורה לנו; אז תהיו איתי לדקה וחצי:
עשרות אלפי יהודים חיו בקהילות עתיקות ומשגשגות במזרח התיכון וצפון אפריקה במשך יותר מ-2500 שנים, במדינות מרוקו, אלג'יריה, תוניסיה, לוב, מצרים, תימן, עדן, איראן, עיראק, סוריה ולבנון.
לאורך כל ההיסטוריה היהודית תחת שלטון מוסלמי, היו תקופות קצרות של שגשוג, לעומת תקופות ארוכות יותר של חיים תחת גזרות, השפלות, הפקעות רכוש, פרעות, סנקציות, עלילות דם, שלילת אזרחות והתאנויות במעמד של "ד'ימים" (בני חסות במעמד נמוך יותר, וכמובן מופלים לרעה).
אחד הגלים הקשים היה ב1947, כשחסן אל-בנא מייסד האחים המוסלמים, התנגד נחרצות לתוכנית של האו"ם ב29 בנובמבר על חלוקת הארץ וקרא לצעירי מצרים והעולם הערבי להתגייס לג'יהאד למניעת יישומה של ההחלטה.
בכל רחבי העולם הערבי פרצו מהומות כנגד קהילות יהודיות רבות; חנויות, בתים ובתי כנסת נבזזו והועלו באש; מאות יהודים שילמו בחייהם, אלפים נכלאו, תנועתם הוגבלה, העלייה לישראל נאסרה עליהם, ומיהודים רבים נשללה האזרחות. יהודים בעלי עמדות השפעה בתחום המסחר, איבדו בבת אחת את כל נכסיהם; חשבונות בנק של יהודים הוקפאו, ורכוש רב הוחרם. וכמו במאות הקודמות, כן גם עתה הורחקו היהודים ממשרדי ממשלה וקבלתם למשרה ציבורית הוגבלה עד מאוד.
קהילות יהודיות משגשגות ופורחות במקומות כמו עיראק, מצרים וסוריה, נמחו כליל כאשר יהודים רבים אולצו לעקור את שורשיהם ולברוח, ולהשאיר את כל הווייתם, תרבותם ורכושם מאחור.
זה היה טיהור אתני אמיתי של יהודים מארצות מולדתם, גירוש מחפיר ואובדן כל רכושם.
בסופו של דבר כ- 850,000 יהודים ברחו מ11 קהילות בארצות האסלאם. הם הפליטים היהודים שעד היום לא מתייחסים בעולם בכובד ראש למקרה ומזכירים אותו בכל שיח. רבים מהם הגיעו לארץ ישראל.
חשוב לזכור ולא לשכוח! על רבים מהמקרים אני כותבת בספרי(הכריכה בצילום יחד עם קטעי עיתונות אמיתיים וישנים משנים קודמות), וכאמור העלתי את כל הדברים בתערוכה שיזמתי, אצרתי ועיצבתי ב-2019 במוזיאון ארץ ישראל – "לצאת מבלי לחזור!" رحلة بدون رجعة!
Today November 30 marks (according to a law from 2014) the deportation and departure of the Jews of Islamic countries in Israel and around the world.
Many of you don't even know about its existence...and it is so relevant and important to what is happening to us; So be with me for a minute and a half:
Tens of thousands of Jews lived in ancient and prosperous communities in the Middle East and North Africa for more than 2500 years, in the countries of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Aden, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
Throughout Jewish history under Muslim rule, there were short periods of prosperity, compared to longer periods of life under edicts, humiliations, confiscation of property, riots, sanctions, blood feuds, denial of citizenship, and martyrdoms in the status of "dhims" (low-status proteges more, and of course discriminated against).
One of the most difficult waves was in 1947, when Hassan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, strongly opposed the plan of the United Nations on November 29 to divide the land and called on the youth of Egypt and the Arab world to mobilize for jihad to prevent the implementation of the decision.
Riots broke out all over the Arab world against many Jewish communities; Shops, houses and synagogues were looted and set on fire; Hundreds of Jews paid with their lives, thousands were imprisoned, their movement was restricted, immigration to Israel was prohibited, and many Jews were denied citizenship. Jews with positions of influence in the field of commerce, lost all their assets at once; Bank accounts of Jews were frozen, and much property was confiscated. And as in the previous centuries, the Jews were removed from government offices and their admission to public office was severely limited.
Prosperous and flourishing Jewish communities in places like Iraq, Egypt and Syria were completely wiped out when many Jews were forced to uproot their roots and flee, leaving their entire being, culture and property behind.
It was a real ethnic cleansing of Jews from their homelands, a shameful deportation and the loss of all their property.
In the end, about 850,000 Jews fled from 11 communities in Islamic countries. They are the Jewish refugees who to this day the case in not taken by the world seriously and mention it in every conversation. Many of them came to Israel.
It is important to remember and not forget! I write about many of the cases in my book (the cover with a photo along with real and old press clippings from previous years), and as mentioned I brought up all the things in the exhibition that I initiated, curated and designed in 2019 at the Eretz Israel Museum - "Leaving never to Return!”
