ere’s a sentence I never thought I’d write: I really like my cable box.

I recently upgraded from one of those fusty old boxes to Comcast ’s CMCSA -1.11% Xfinity X1 box, and the difference is insane. Rather than remember hundreds of channel numbers, I just say, “the Warriors game” into the voice-enabled remote and it jumps to the right place. With one search, I can find content across live TV, on-demand and even Netflix.

I know, I know. Talking about how great cable is in 2019 sounds like bragging about my horse-drawn buggy in the age of the Model T. The future of TV looks mostly like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and other streaming services. But what we’re discovering is, in this cable-cut, streaming-dominated world, every set of shows we want to watch comes with its own app, password and ever-increasing monthly fee. Gee, it’d be great if someone could bundle all that content together in one place! And maybe consolidate all my bills down to one, and hand me a nice box to run it all. We could call it—and I’m just spitballing here—“cable.”

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement email marketing campaigns for both the Lou Malnati’s and Tastes of Chicago brands
Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling
Ensure email templates are displaying correctly across all device types
Further develop and improve overall email strategy through A/B testing
Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements to the team
Develop and maintain email marketing calendar
Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices
Contribute creatively to content ideation and generation across all marketing platforms
OUALIFICATIONS
Experience with email marketing
Hands on experience with HTML
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) to design email graphics and creative
Previous experience using marketing automation platforms such as Bronto is a plus
Knowledge of Google Analytics
Good written communication and copywriting skills with fastidious attention to detail
Experience with blogging and content creation is a plus
Experience in a Lou Malnati's location or in the hospitality field a plus
Willingness to work towards conflict resolution with the management team and staff
Willingness to work on areas of growth to become a better manager, which would include communicating openly and honestly in meetings
Ability to be part of creating a safe, fun, efficient, positive team orientated environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to freely access all areas of the office and warehouse.
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility and at off-site events.
Ability to lift, move, or handle goods throughout the location and at events generally weighing 0-75 pounds.
Work performed in office environment and off site.
