Tokar was born in the Dangs, Gujarat, home to the Kotwalia community and one of India’s richest legacies of bamboo weaving. Rooted in this heritage, we craft contemporary, design-led objects in bamboo — a material as sustainable as it is versatile. Each piece is an act of place-making, carrying forward the spirit of the forests, rivers, and people who have shaped this craft for generations.
