✈️ Reimagining Gujarat's regional and coastal air connectivity begins now.
🤝 We are proud to announce Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Cligent Aerospace and Shree Maruti to build India’s next-generation regional and coastal air mobility ecosystem using indigenous STOL aircraft, starting from Gujarat.
🗺️ This collaboration will initially connect Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Bhavnagar, Vadodara, Surat, and extend to Mumbai, enabling fast warehouse-to-warehouse aerial logistics. ⏱️ What earlier took 8–10 hours by road will now be completed in just 1–2 hours, with up to 📉 50% lower operating costs, enabled by ⚡ a hybrid-electric STOL configuration designed for Indian conditions.
🛫 As part of these MoUs, SMILE (Shree Maruti Integrated Logistics Limited) will use Cligent’s CL1000 STOL aircraft, purpose-built for very short take-off and landing operations, regional airstrips, and 🌊 coastal routes.
🇮🇳 This collaboration represents a strong step toward Atmanirbhar aviation, combining Indian engineering, efficient propulsion, and infrastructure-light operations to strengthen regional connectivity and 📦 logistics resilience across the country.
