The Leadership Handover Ceremony of the GCCI Business Women Committee (BWC) was held today, 5th September 2026, at GCCI, Ahmedabad.

Shri Rajesh Gandhi, President, GCCI, congratulated Ms. Asha Vaghasia, Outgoing Chairperson, GCCI Business Women Committee, for her exemplary leadership and contribution during her tenure. He extended his best wishes to Ms. Shalu Lekhadia, Newly Appointed Chairperson, GCCI Business Women Committee, and encouraged the Committee to further strengthen its contribution towards entrepreneurship, nation-building and enriching the Brand GCCI.

The occasion was graced by Ms. Zeal Shah, Co-Founder, Sahaay and Chief Trust Officer, Freeedom NGO, as the Chief Guest. She appreciated the initiatives of the GCCI Business Women Committee and emphasised the importance of creating a positive and meaningful impact on society.

During the ceremony, Ms. Shalu Lekhadia assumed charge as the newly appointed Chairperson of the GCCI Business Women Committee and reaffirmed her commitment towards the Committee’s objectives and the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

The programme also featured Ms. Bansi Shah, Co-chairperson, BWC, who delivered the Welcome Address; Ms. Namrata Shah, Co-chairperson, BWC, who introduced the Chief Guest; and Ms. Mansi Patel, Member, BWC, who proposed the Vote of Thanks.

The occasion marked a meaningful transition of leadership and reaffirmed BWC’s commitment towards empowering women entrepreneurs and creating a positive impact on society.

Beyond Proof – An Experiential Workshop for Business Women

The GCCI Business Women Committee successfully organized “Beyond Proof – An Experiential Workshop for Business Women” on 5th June 2026 at the GCCI premises under the leadership of Smt. Asha Vaghasia, Chairperson, Business Women Committee.

The interactive session was led by Dr. Nirali Pandit, Professional Coach (ICF-PCC), EchoMe, who shared valuable insights on building confidence, effective communication, self-awareness, and personal leadership, empowering participants to unlock their full potential in both professional and personal spheres.

The program was seamlessly anchored by Ms. Radhika Sheth, Business Development Head, GCCI BWC. Ms. Nneha Setth, Committee Member, warmly welcomed and introduced the esteemed speaker, while Ms. Janki Desai, Committee Member, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speaker and participants for making the session a success.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from businesswomen, entrepreneurs, and professionals, fostering meaningful discussions, experiential learning, and networking opportunities.
