Soibrandz is seeking for PHP Developer (Minimum 2 to 3 Years of Experience)

Key Skills Required:
• Industry experience of minimum 2 - 3 years as a Software Developer / Programmer on PHP platform
• Experience of working in all SDLC phases and at least one project with Agile product development. Knowledge of software tools, and methodology.
• Experience of minimum 2 years in QC, Database Testing, developing test cases, Unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, UAT, test and SDLC documentation.
• Experience of n Tier Architecture, MVC framework and Application design and architecture, performance consideration and knowledge of latest trends in PHP – LAMP, WAMP stack.
• Strong proficiency and clear conceptual knowledge in PHP Programming, MySQL, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, CSS3, Bootstrap, etc.
• Experience of customizing at least two CMS or E-Commerce systems like, Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento, Moodle, Opencart, WooCommerce, etc.
• Demonstrable knowledge & strong working experience of either two PHP frameworks like, Codeigniter, Zend, CakePHP, Smarty, Kohana, YII, etc
• Working experience in any of the APIs like Facebook, Twitter, Google Analytics would be an added advantage
• Working proficiency of integrating payment gateways like PayPal, Authorize.net, etc
• Experience in MS Sql Server Database Management , database design, normalization and database modelling, – ER diagram and performance tuning
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage each and every phase of the product development cycle
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members in consultation with the top management
• Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools (MS Project)
• Develop and deliver progress reports to the top management as per the agreed timeline
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis and devise contingency plans
Educational Qualifications and Interpersonal Skills:
• Should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / Post-Graduation Degree with strong academic credentials in the field of IT
• Should be a team player with optimistic attitude, problem solving and analytic skills / ability
• Should be capable to implement new ideas for development with new techniques for improving the productivity
• Should be self-motivated with sound communication and interpersonal skills
• Should be adaptable, self-driven, motivated and eager to learn
• Should have effective time management and multi-tasking skills
• Should be able to work both independently and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making
