As you know, fireflies are a rapidly declining part of vibrant biodiversity and sensitive indicators of environmental purity.

How to Participate in the Firefly Count?

✨ Step outside and look for fireflies in your backyard, garden, or nearby area on 5th & 6th July from 8:00 PM to 9PM onwards.

📝 Follow these simple
steps:
1. Observe and count the
number of fireflies you
see.
2. If you don’t see any,
kindly record the count
as ZERO.

🌿 On this International Women's Day 🌿

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Women Farmers Empowerment Initiative – "Soil to Sustainability" – across 23 districts of Gujarat! The project is supported Infotech Limited and implemented by WAY Everything Connects Foundation in partnership with CESC & NCNF🚜✨

💡 Key Highlights:

✅ Hands-on demonstrations & workshops to promote eco-friendly farming
✅ Mobile Soil Testing Kits that provide results in less than 10 seconds ⏱️
✅ Training in agroforestry & natural farming techniques for long-term success

🎯 Our Goals:

1️⃣ Empower women farmers with soil testing tools for better decision-making
2️⃣ Educate them on soil health & sustainable farming through interactive workshops
3️⃣ Enable the adoption of improved farming practices with ongoing support

🚀 As part of this initiative, we have already distributed 65 Mobile Soil Testing Kits to help farmers make informed, data-driven decisions about their soil and crops! 🌱

Our recent training session on the Mobile Soil Testing Kit provided valuable insights into soil health assessment and its applications. Community Resource Persons (CRPs) – 70% of them women – from 17 civil society organizations and NGOs from Gujarat participated in the workshops conducted in Ahmedabad and Anand.

During these sessions, participants underwent technical training on:
✅ The Importance of Soil Testing & Natural Farming
✅ Hands-on skills for using the Mobile Soil Testing Kit in the field

The project will span all agro-climatic zones of Gujarat, covering 19 districts, fostering a more sustainable and resilient agricultural ecosystem.

About the Mobile Soil Testing Kit by

📊 The kit measures 8 key soil parameters – Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Organic Carbon, Temperature, pH, Moisture, and Humidity – enabling farmers to make data-driven decisions for sustainable agriculture.

With this program, we aim to equip 2,500+ women farmers with the tools & knowledge to enhance productivity and embrace sustainable farming for a better future! 🌍💚

To what we've always called our “Den”

WAY & Hara Pitara have finally found a new home to call our own, and the journey has been nothing short of humbling! We’re incredibly proud to share this space, a true embodiment of what we’ve always worked for: sustainability.

We warmly invite you all to visit our new office and experience center, a thoughtfully curated space filled with sustainable products. It’s the culmination of 15 years of hard work, with 90% of the furniture upcycled or refurbished, saved from scrap, and given a second life. ♻️❤️

Prakshal has been educating students for more than two decades and is the mastermind behind our initiatives that bring about behavioural change towards climate change & environmental conservation.
