MeWriT (Hetal Shah), in collaboration with CTQuest is delighted to continue supporting our industry members with various Training requirements!

This time around, it was indeed gratifying for CTQuest & MeWriT to join hands in conducting an extensive Training on “Essentials of Medical Writing” for a MedCom Corporate!

The focused group workshop witnessed super-engaging participation with 30+ professional writers in virtual sessions over a weekend!

Overall, an ‘EXCELLENT/GOOD’ feedback with specific appreciation for our hands-on components and interactions...surely indicates that we could overpower the limitations of a virtual medium, and our attempt to replicate a classroom-like quality was fairly successful!

As we adapt our approaches to suit the changing times, we continue to keep an unwavering focus on the quality and excellence in all our deliverables!

Cardiac implantable electronic device-detected atrial high rate episodes (AHRE)are associated with increase risk of thromboembolism. The latest publication supported, now in the Journal of Arrhythmia this month (journal of the Japanese Heart Rhythm Society) discusses the prevalence and the risk factors for AHRE in the Indian population.

It is exciting to bring yet another real-world data concerning the use of biosimilars to your desk with this publication in the prestigious American College of Rheumatology’s journal - ACR Open Rheumatol.

While the real-world use of biosimilars continues to be of interest, their clinical use particularly in Indian patients with autoimmune conditions witnesses a tailor-made, case-to-case unconventional treating approach adapted for patient-influenced factors. Biologics are often used more as on‐demand or debulking agents to target a disease flare rather than as conventional long‐term disease‐controlling agents. This paper discusses the effectiveness and tolerability of an adalimumab biosimilar in patients with ankylosing spondylitis from such real-time Indian clinical practice.
