iAccelerator is a three month long residential program for startups in Internet & Mobile domain. The program is designed to equip technology entrepreneurs to establish well run, technically excellent and profitable companies in India. iAccelerator is an initiative of Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship at IIM-A. iA team follows three tier approach for evaluation - preliminary screening of online applications, phone interview and in-person interview. iA Angel investors also play active role in evaluation. Selection of finalist startups are done based on following criteria:

The selected startups get
★ 5-10 Lacs in seed funding
★ Mentoring during three month long boot camp
★ Chance to interact with like-minded hackers and startups
Boot Camp
iAccelerator startups move to IIMA campus for period of three months to be part of the boot camp. During the boot camp, iA startups get infrastructure and functional support as well as business and investment mentoring. Following activities take place during the course of three months:
Infrastructure: Incorporation, IP and trademark filing, and cloud support
Workshops: 1-2 days workshops on user experience design, technical topics such as security and more, sales, marketing, market analysis
Business Mentoring: brainstorming with startups to refine business plan/model, input in strategy and operations, market insight, entrepreneurial leadership and more
Investment support: talk on topics such as entrepreneurial finance, Accounting 101, financial modeling, understanding termsheet. Moreover startups gets connected with right investors, and gets help in deal closing
Demo Day
The boot camp ends with big bang on a demo day where iA startup presents in front of early stage investors.
