𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝘅 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆.

As the at Bharat Tex 2026, the opening day was marked by engaging conversations around circularity, sustainability, innovation and the future of textiles.

We were honoured to welcome 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗷 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵, Hon’ble Union Minister, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India during the inauguration of Bharat Tex 2026, along with 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗣𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮, Union Minister of State for Textiles and High Commissioner and Ministerial Delegations from New Zealand led by 𝗠𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, Associate Minister of Agriculture and Minister for Rural Communities. Their presence shows India’s commitment to strengthening its position as a trusted global sourcing destination for textiles and apparel.

With over 1,600 exhibitors, 6,000+ buyers from more than 130 countries and over 1.3 lakh trade visitors Bharat Tex 2026 continues to bring together the entire textile value chain, fostering collaboration, innovation, investment, and sustainable growth.

He shares how Arvind has continually evolved from a traditional textile company into a diversified enterprise with a growing presence across advanced materials, technical textiles and emerging businesses.

At the heart of this journey has always been Arvind's greatest strength, its people. Their resilience, teamwork and commitment have enabled the organisation to navigate challenges, seize opportunities and emerge stronger over the years.

On World Environment Day, around 600 volunteers from the Arvind family came together for a clean-up drive at the Sabarmati Riverbed, reaffirming our shared commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable future.

Organised as part of the city-wide initiative led by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation - AMC, Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) - India and Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation, the drive reflected the collective power of community action and environmental responsibility. Volunteers from the Arvind family had also participated in this cleanup drive, which was launched last year.

We thank all volunteers and partner organisations for their enthusiastic participation in making a difference for our city and our environment.
