Sometimes, pizza is all the plan you need.

And this lot clearly didn’t need much convincing.

What we like about these pictures is how easy it all looks: people sitting together, having a laugh and genuinely enjoying each other’s company.

That kind of camaraderie is hard to manufacture, and even harder to fake.

The smiles probably say the rest.

Outsourcing isn’t magic. You don’t simply move work elsewhere and expect everything to fall into place.

It works when there is regular communication, proper context, trust and a willingness on both sides to stay involved.

And that is also why we understand why some businesses can be cautious about outsourcing. If it is treated purely as a hand-off, the distance will eventually show.

We’re fortunate to work with clients who take a very different approach: clients who genuinely consider the outsourced team as part of their own team, keep them involved in the conversation and give them the context and trust to contribute properly.

When that relationship exists, outsourcing starts to feel much less like “us and them” and much more like one team working towards the same thing.

Before we disappear into the long weekend, one last look back at August.

It turned out to be quite a month.

Friendship Week. Our 80th Independence Day celebrations. Onam. Busy delivery floors. And plenty of moments in between that probably explain our workplace better than a polished company description ever could.

Friday is the last working day for many of us before the bank-holiday weekend, although not everyone at JKS gets to switch off completely. Our out-of-hours teams will still be there keeping client work moving while the rest of us take a well-earned break.

Which, in a way, is also a good picture of what we do.

Sometimes outsourcing is about adding capacity. Sometimes it is about keeping things moving when your own team is not at their desk.

For now, though, this was August at JKS. And it was a good one. 🙂

Our Onam celebrations seem to get a little better every year. 🌼

And when you have a few Malayalis around the leadership table, I suppose Onam was never going to pass quietly in Ahmedabad. 😄

The Kerala spirit definitely made its way to the sixth floor today, from putting the pookalam together and turning up in traditional outfits, to food, laughter and plenty of people getting involved along the way.

That is probably what we enjoy most about celebrations at JKS. It doesn’t really matter where a festival comes from; once it reaches the office, everyone somehow becomes part of it.

At JKS, our people come from across the country, each bringing their own language, culture and identity. So for India’s 80th Independence Day, one language simply didn’t feel enough.

Between client calls, deadlines and daily responsibilities, there are also school runs, homework, bedtime stories and quiet moments that matter just as much.

Today, we appreciate the fathers, father figures and steady supporters who show up in more ways than one.

Breathe.
Reset.
And return to the day with a little more clarity.
