Over 65 per cent of the world export of cashew kernels is accounted for by India. India is one of the largest producer, processor and exporter of cashews in the world. The domestic market is currently growing at 17 per cent on compound annual growth rate basis. As per the demand supply gap is increasing rapidly and the demand is expected to touch 21.90 Lac MT as against the projected supply of 8.89 Lac MT in the year 2024.....a huge gap !
