🤔 What does 100 TON really mean when talking about an Injection Moulding Machine?

100 TON does not mean the machine weighs 100 tons! ❌

It means the machine has a clamping force of 100 TON. The force that holds the mould closed tightly while the material is injected inside. 🔩⚙️

Clamping force means the machine can handle bigger moulds and higher injection pressures without the mould opening or creating flash.
