Intellectual Property Rights Cell, ZHCET is a student body dynamically involved in helping the students of the college to generate innovative ideas, communicate new technologies and develop the skills that can make a difference between success and failure and also guiding them through the process to get their ideas protected. Mission
To create awareness and provide guidance to students, sch

olars, and outside agencies on the practices and the rules of institute regarding intellectual property rights and obligations within the frame work of the IPR policy of the institute. To promote the new developments, innovations and research in the college. To coordinate the activities pertaining to the Intellectual Property of the Institute and providing the guidance in the filing of patents by faculty/students of the Institute including copyrights and other issues. Objective
To promote academic freedom and safeguard the interests of inventor in creation and commercialization of intellectual property with legal support wherever necessary. To create an environment for acquiring new knowledge through innovation, develop an attitude of prudent IP management practices and promote an IPR culture compatible with the educational mission of the institute. Activities
IPR cell is focused on creating awareness among the students about Innovation and things pertaining to IP culture by means of Lectures, Workshops, Technical Competitions and various other interactive events. It targets to create an environment of creativity where new ideas flourish. Some main events are as follows:

Institute Innovation Council (IIC-ZHCET) is inviting application from interested students for the following posts. Students are required to send a one page CV at [email protected] mentioning the post applied for by 8th September 2019. The interview for the posts shall be held at Committee Room Z.H.C.E.T and the date of interview to be communicated to all applicants through email.
Note: Those who have already applied as per notification dated August 27, 2019 need not to apply again.
