On 24th March 2023, Shri
Anandpur Sahib Yuva Women
Farmer Producer Company
Ltd. had their 1st AGM.
The agenda of the AGM was
discussion on progress till now
including the turnover and future
business activities, and issuance
of Share Certificates to members
of FPC.
The event started with a warm
welcome by Mrs. Gurdeep Kaur,
LRP - Shri Anandpur Sahib,
GTBL.
Mrs. Neelam Devi, Chairperson,
Shri Anandpur Sahib Yuva
Women Farmer Producer
Company Ltd. then addressed
the gathering regarding the
progress of the FPC till date and
plan for future business activities.
Mrs. Kiran Bala, Secretary, Rupnagar
Mahila Welfare Society & Member, Shri
Anandpur Sahib Yuva Women Farmer
Producer Company Ltd. expressed her
gratitude to the entire GTBL team for their
efforts. She spoke about the trainings
conducted by GTBL in the cluster.
Mr. Rajesh Jain, Director – Livelihoods,
GTBL enlightened the members of FPC
about the importance of farmer collectives
and its benefit. He also emphasized on
digital literacy for women.
Mrs. Monica Chowla, CEO – Samar
Vinayak NGO & Head of Women Cell,
Sadar Thana also encouraged the women
to come forward a start their own
enterprises. She also spoke about women
empowerment.
Dr. Amarjeet Singh, AO – Shri Anandpur
Sahib, Department of Agriculture spoke
extensively on good agricultural practices
and opportunities for women in
processing.
Mr. Rakesh Mewara, Team Leader,
Rupnagar, GTBL disseminated
information about the purpose of AGM,
concept of shareholding and importance of
share certificate.
Mr. Dinesh, Area Manager – De Heus
spoke about good package of practices in
dairy and scope of income enhancement
for women through dairy.
Lastly, Mr. Pransu Gulleria, District
Manager – Rupnagar, Bayer spoke about
the revitalizing soil health along with good
agricultural practices.
In the end, members of our FPCs were
felicitated with their Share Certificates.
The event ended with a vote of thanks by
Mr. Rajesh Rana, CEO – Shri Anandpur
Sahib Yuva Women Farmer Producer
Company Ltd.
The macramé products prepared by our
members were also displayed.
