Recommendations for hail damage orchards
1. Immediately after hail, apply 100 gm Carbendazim or 600 gm Mancozeb 70% in 200 L of water via spray.
2.propnib 70% wp 300 gm 100 L
3.Hexacanazole 4%zineb 68% wp 125 g/100 L
4. Within 3-4 days of the hail storm, spray 200 gm Boric acid + 500 gm Zinc Sulphate + 250 gm Quick lime in 200 L of water.
5. After 10 to 12 days, a spray of micro-nutrients such as Agromin, Multiplex, or Microvit @ 400 to 600 g per 200 L of water is also advised. Additionally, consider spraying the hail-affected apple orchard with 1kg Urea in 200L of water. These measures are recommended for hail damage mitigation.
Remove the fallen fruitlets and leaves immediately after hail storm.
