ESPIRIDI unveils STAR NAV V3.0 — engineered for flight-grade autonomous navigation in GNSS-denied environments, where precision, continuity, and mission assurance matter most.

As global aviation and defence ecosystems face increasing GPS jamming and spoofing threats, resilient navigation is no longer optional — it is operationally critical. STAR NAV V3.0 is built to deliver reliable positioning, navigation, and autonomy even in contested environments.

From autonomous aerial systems to next-generation defence applications, the future belongs to platforms that can navigate beyond dependence on satellite signals.

At ESPIRIDI, we continue pushing the boundaries of intelligent aerospace systems, resilient navigation architectures, and mission-ready autonomy.

The next era of aerospace is autonomous. Adaptive. Assured.

Proud to share a glimpse of our prototype for ESPIRIDI Star Nav — ESPIRIDI’s celestial navigation project šŸ’«

ESPIRIDI Star Nav is being developed as a simulation-driven navigation framework designed to explore resilient positioning, orientation, and mission-control capabilities in environments where conventional signals may be degraded, denied, or contested.

Our current prototype integrates key modules such as:
• ESKF Simulator for attitude fusion and orientation tracking
• Star Tracker for synthetic star-field image generation and centroid-based detection
• GPS Integrity Monitoring to detect spoofing and jamming risks
• Orbital Correction for maneuver and correction logic
• Full Mission Simulation for end-to-end system evaluation

The latest simulation run demonstrated a successful mission cycle, including telemetry visualization, attitude error profiling, and multi-phase mission ex*****on. This marks an important step in validating the system architecture and user interface for future development.

At ESPIRIDI, we see celestial navigation not as a legacy concept, but as a strategic capability for the next generation of aerospace, defence, and resilient autonomous systems.

This is still a prototype — but it reflects the direction we are building toward: secure, adaptive, simulation-tested navigation intelligence.

šŸŒ Advancing Global Dialogue on Lethal Autonomous Weapon Systems (LAWS)

G100 Security & Defence in collaboration with WICCI NAC is organizing a high-level meeting on:

*Multilateral Policy Recommendations and Best Practices on Lethal Autonomous Weapon Systems (LAWS)*

Date: 22nd February, 2026 (Sunday)
Time: 15.00 - 16.00 Hrs IST ( 3 - 4 pm IST)
(GMT): 09.30-10.30 AM GMT
Link: https://lnkd.in/dj-r2kBq

Distinguished Panel of Speakers: Fabrizio Degni (AI & Data Governance Expert), Lynn Frederick Dsouza (Country Advisory Member (India) - G100 Security & Defence | National President - Aviation Council, WICCI), Neha Natesh (Automation Expert, Aerospace Council - WICCI), Rakhee Biswas (Aviation, Space & Technology Legal Expert, Aviation Council - WICCI, Robi Sen (Military AI Expert)

As AI-enabled weapons increasingly shape modern conflict, this dialogue convenes policymakers, defence leaders, technologists, legal experts, and civil society to advance shared understanding on:

*Responsible military AI governance
*International humanitarian law, accountability, and command responsibility
*Confidence-Building Measures (CBMs) for AI-enabled and autonomous systems
*Early warning systems, escalation management, and crisis stability in AI-driven environments
*Risk mitigation, human control, and ethical safeguards
*Multilateral cooperation and transparency mechanisms

The objective is to translate normative commitments into practical CBMs, robust early warning architectures, and actionable multilateral policy recommendations that reduce miscalculation, prevent unintended escalation, and strengthen global security.

šŸ¤ A timely forum for collaborative leadership at the intersection of defence, technology, and international policy.

Algorithmic Warfare is no longer theoretical. It’s operational.

In the latest ESPIRIDI podcast episode, We examine the legal and ethical frontiers of AI-driven warfare through the lens of the ongoing Iran–Israel conflict.

Podcast Link: https://lnkd.in/dNU6_9V3

From Israel’s data-intensive targeting systems like Lavender and Gospel to Iran’s asymmetric use of autonomous drones and cyber capabilities, we’re witnessing a shift where algorithms increasingly shape lethal decisions. The concern isn’t innovation—it’s oversight.

Across multiple documented cases, algorithmic recommendations are reportedly approved with minimal human review. This raises urgent questions about compliance with International Humanitarian Law, particularly the principles of distinction, proportionality, and accountability.

When kill chains are compressed and decisions are distributed across data, models, and command structures—who is legally responsible?

This episode explores the growing tension between operational efficiency and the ethical necessity of meaningful human control, and why the absence of a global regulatory framework for military AI is creating a dangerous accountability gap.

If you work in AI governance, defense policy, international law, or security studies, this conversation matters.

What does a robust AI strategy look like under real strategic pressure?

In defence, security, and geopolitics, AI systems do not fail neatly.
They fail through misinterpretation, escalation dynamics, and false confidence.

At ESPIRIDI, our AI Stress Testing work is grounded in a simple premise:

Strategic robustness matters more than point accuracy.

The framework illustrated here highlights four hallmarks of a robust strategic model—the same principles we apply when stress testing AI systems used in high-stakes environments:
1ļøāƒ£ Predicts directionally correct change
Even when precise numbers shift, a robust model gets the vector right—revealing how increasing autonomy, spoofing, or compression of decision time drives instability.
2ļøāƒ£ Identifies non-obvious tipping points
We surface dangerous combinations of autonomy, decision latency, and adversarial interference where systems suddenly collapse—not gradually degrade.
3ļøāƒ£ Supports counter-intuitive design choices
Sometimes, less autonomy increases stability. Stress testing makes these trade-offs visible before they emerge in real-world crises.
4ļøāƒ£ Remains useful even when wrong
When assumptions fail, a strong framework tells you where to look next and what to measure, enabling faster learning rather than strategic paralysis.

This is not model validation.
This is strategic resilience engineering.

If your organisation deploys AI in defence, security, policy analysis, or escalation-sensitive domains, the question is no longer whether AI works—but how it behaves at the edge.

When the stakes are high, push your AI to the edge—before reality does.
