Orissa Power Consortium Limited It is a group of VBC company.It basically deals with Hydro Electic Power Plant,Solar Power Plant.

It is a Small Hydro Electric Project located on the bank of Samal Barrage,Angul on the river of The Brahmani.We generate 20MW of electric power in an hour i.e.our capacity is 5*4MW.We have 5 units of turbine each of having generation capacity 4MW power.Our design is of Horizental Type and we are using Horizental S-type Full Kaplan Turbine.We are also maintaining the transmission line upto 35kms.i.e.upto kamakshya nagar.Our line is of 132KV electric line.
