As a need of the hour, each Health Care Professional (HCP) all across the globe is in search of a solution to help their self from COVID-19 pathogens. Unfortunately due to unavailability, transport restrictions, and manufacturing challenges industry is unable to fulfill the unmatched demands. As a team of engineers , we honestly want to contribute as much as possible. Thus we came up with a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Face Sheild.
We have developed this product to facilitate additional safety to the end-user. These are personal protective equipment devices that are used by many workers (e.g. medical, dental, veterinary, Policemen, etc) for protection of the facial area and associated mucous membranes (eyes, nose, mouth) from splashes, sprays, and spatter of body fluids. In a general setting, it is recommended that the face shield needs to be used in conjunction with the face mask/respirators such as N95. We have made this as a two-part product where the Forehead clip and the front shield are made out of high-quality medical-grade polymers such as Polypropylene Copolymer (PPCO) and Polypropylene (PP). The forehead clip can be reused several times and the transparent shield can be reused until the transparency of the shield is compromised.
