Hello everyone from Ok Upcycling Studio Auroville! 🌱

Our page has been a little quiet lately, hasn’t it? But we’re back! 🎉 From now on, you can look forward to regular updates, stories, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of our creative upcycling journey.

First up, we’re excited to share a peek into our "Sip to Style" workshop held in May, in Coutances, Normandy, France! 🎷 Amid the lively atmosphere of the Jazz Festival, participants crafted stunning accessories using discarded coffee capsules, while also exploring the deeper topic of sustainability in the coffee industry.

✨ The magic: discarded coffee capsules transformed into works of art! ✨ The creativity and energy from everyone were so inspiring, and it sparked something special…

We’re now busy creating a brand-new Normandy-inspired "Sip to Style" coffee capsule earring collection! ☕💫 These will soon be available at our Auroville store – and we can’t wait to share them with you. Stay tuned! 😉

Exhibition "TRUE BLUE"
The exhibited artworks are recent creations that express memories of the sea using a combination of wax, silk thread, and discarded materials. These works depict the ocean through their color scheme and unique forms, while also delivering a message about environmental issues through the use of recycled materials. Through these artworks, we are able to appreciate the beauty of the sea and also recognize our responsibility to protect it.
