"LABANA SATYAGRAHA SMRUTI FALAKA" at: SUNDARI village.....incident on 17th april 1930: while the satyagrahis were bringing salt to sale at Motiganj..the British S.P NINIS brutally beat them with lathis and hunters and rode over them with horses..the people of SUNDARI village made the first aid and gave them water...
This monument was exclusively designed by me and made with the help of two of my village mates..Purna ch rout and Aditya bandhu ratha on FEBRUARY 2005 Arun dey were to be MLA and he paid RS 25000 not only for a exceptional work by youth but his father were to be a freedom fighter"GOLAK NATH DEY...LATE RABINDRA MOHAN DAS,LATE PURNA CHANDRA JEE,SURYA MANI PANDA, BRAJANATH RATHA, SARBESWAR DAS, SRIDEB JEE AND DR.KALYANI DAS helped a lot in the research of the actual significance of the place......THANX A LOT from the core of my heart .since that day we celebrate 17th april with out own pocket money still now nither Govt nor Administration paid a single rupee or attention for the development of this Historical Place.while Inchudi is known as LABANA TIRTHA....Sundari is Known as LABANA SATYAGRAHA RA AATIHASIKA KURUSKHETRA.
