I see so many gym owners spending the whole day at the gym. Most call themselves gym owners but in reality they are doing the job of a trainer or front desk.
Top 5 mistakes
1) Trying to do personal training
2) Standing at the front desk as a receptionist
3) Thinking the only way to do a job right is to do it themselves
4) Taking pride in the fact that the gym cannot run without them
5) Taking pride in the fact that they are better at doing things they are not supposed to be doing, than the person who is actually supposed to do it
Treat your gym business like a business. Make time for yourself, delegate, train and incorporate processes and systems.

Someone told me if a gym owner's gym is sinking and you claim you can save them. How in the world will they afford your services when they are already sinking? The response is simple - Build trust with them, reveal a problem they never thought they had and most importantly, create urgency. Money is NEVER a problem, when urgency is high. Every other gym owner is giving excuses.

Don't get me wrong. It's important to look a certain way. It's important to stay fit and healthy.
And being fit and healthy attracts more customers.
But if you think I'm not qualified to help your gym grow just because I don't look a certain way. Then you have an attitude problem.
Despite being not perfect, I get more attention, have a better personality and sell myself better than most people in my industry who are in shape. So while I work on my fitness. I'm not going to wait till I get there to start helping gyms.
