The restaurant and hospitality business is a risky venture, there is minimal to no stability involved as your business could be doing well today but could be affected either positively or negatively due to an array of factors.
The following blog suggests some tips and ideas to ensure that you can maintain your business and ensure that you are not just another temporary player in this sector.
1.Stay Consistent!
There is a reason that consistency is considered to be the key, when we say stay consistent, we mean remain consistent in the quality of the food that you serve. If you were to observe the oldest restaurant or most successful chains, they all aim to maintain consistency in the way their dishes taste and the way that you prepare them.
If your food tastes different every single time the customer will be reluctant to visit your eatery.
2. How do I maintain consistency?

Following are some tips on how to design a good online menu:

1) Focus on Clarity
An online menu must be made keeping in mind that the customer wants clarity, mention all your dishes, below them the ingredients that they feature, especially if you have named your dishes in an innovative manner or given a different touch to any classic dish, you should mention what it is you have done differently. The customer appreciates innovation but remember, they can be confused as easily as well if they do not know what a particular dish is.

2) Keep it Simple, Silly!
Probably the best piece of advice while doing anything! When you order online you just want to explore the dishes available, as we mentioned above, people value their time more now.
A complicated menu would just drive them away! Most of the times people do not know what they wish to order, they like to surprise themselves by trying something new, so going in, the customer is already confused attempting to figure out what they wish to have, you do not want to increase their confusion further with a complex menu!

3) Make your menu easy to navigate
Organize your online menu in a particular way. The conventional way is different based upon the type of cuisine you offer. For instance, a South Indian restaurant mentions South Indian breakfast items first, Hot beverages after and then various Meals that they serve.
