Civic sense
Today when I Was waiting for someone, was just looking around. See What I have found on a sajja on the first floor.
I see all kind of things from broken wooden packing reject, fused bulb, pet bottles, plastic waste, stagnating rain water, used pet bottles, empty cans of software drinks, scrap pipes, waste paper what and what not.
This place is such, it is not accessible to any street rag picker, otherwise all the saleable things would have been picked by them.
My subject is with all the awareness on swacha bharat govt is trying to inculcate in people of India, the efforts of civic authorities, cleanliness can be achieved if only,if only, those who strewed all such wastes in any place at hand throw distance without any concern for environment decide to be providing a clean space for others to live in safely inthis world as also for themselves.
It is widely said reforms cannot be achieved by fear or punishment. But I feel enforcement of our vicinity to be clean has to be enforced very strongly. Govt stops at the level of collecting garbage and disposing of them. But beyond unless the waste is reduced at the source and throwing is obtained by people themselves, there is no salvation for India
