Have you ever noticed one thing?
Two people can do the same activity…
but the impact on the body can be completely different.
For example, I may be cooking food.
But while cooking, what is happening inside me?
Am I frustrated?
Am I irritated?
Am I angry?
Am I constantly thinking, “Why do I have to do everything?”
Or…
Am I calm?
Am I grateful?
Am I present?
Am I feeling happy that I am preparing something nourishing for myself and my family?
The activity is the same — cooking.
But the inner emotion is different.
And this is where mental health begins.
Because our body does not only respond to what we do.
Our body also responds to how we feel while doing it.
Your nervous system is listening.
Your hormones are listening.
Your digestion is listening.
Your energy is listening.
Even your healing is listening.
That is why sometimes, even healthy habits do not give results — because inside, we are doing them with stress, pressure, guilt, or anger.
So next time, whatever you are doing — cooking, walking, working, exercising, or taking care of your family — pause for one second and ask yourself:
“What emotion am I carrying right now?”
Because your outer action matters…
but your inner state matters even more.
Start doing small things with peace.
Start speaking gently to yourself.
Start creating safety inside your body.
Because healing is not only about food, fitness, or routine.
Healing starts with the voice inside you. Share it with someone who need to hear this.
