The Unacknowledged Pioneers of School Education may not always stand in the spotlight, but their work has transformed learning for thousands of children. In this landmark 50th edition, we celebrate the journeys of three extraordinary educators who have turned schools into spaces of joy, purpose, and possibility.
Mrs. G. Arundathi – Founder of Sanghamitra School, Hyderabad. With 42 years in education, she built an institution grounded in holistic learning, community service, and sustainability, earning recognition from TEDx, Josh Talks, and the Government of Telangana.
Mrs. Hansa Vithani – Founder of Vidya Niketan School, Bengaluru. She envisioned a “Happy School” where children learn without fear and teachers thrive with dignity. Her joyful learning philosophy has shaped generations for over four decades.
Ms. Premalatha (Latha) Panneerselvam – Founder & Managing Director of Mahatma Schools, Madurai. An edupreneur and innovator, she pioneered No-Bag Day and storytelling pedagogy, nurturing 21st-century skills while staying rooted in timeless values.
This session goes beyond celebrating three women educators—it salutes every teacher who, in their own classroom, keeps the flame of learning alive for seekers of knowledge.
