A critical point to comprehend is as the Technology advances, the products or services you sell now will become obsolete in a matter of time. So adopting to the newer technologies is essential to stay ahead of your competition and evolve your own market place that is more suited to the times that you live in. The speed of adoption has also shrunk over the decades - it is getting smaller or smaller. Stay fit, adopt quick, continuously change process and culture and you will be alive. Either you lead or quickly follow, or you perish.
There are enough digital tools available to make this happen but integrating them into your 'way of working' (or workflow) is key and this is the transformation that every senior leader has to be driving.
