Signals & Events Start for Jupiter-Rahu Conjunction

In a 7 year cycle , this yoga earlier happened in 2001 ( 9/11 in New York , Indian Parliament attack on 13 Dec 2001) and next in 2008 of 26/11 Mumbai Attack . Both times stock markets crashed worldwide .

This time , Leo ( Simha ) sign is the battle ground for Jupiter -Rahu conjunction . So, first shock happened within one month of Jupiter entering into Leo and taking position and China market crash happened on 24 August 2015 and world stock prices crashed .

In August, I had predicted that it is just beginning as by year end , Rahu will also come into Leo and then the real battle will begin . That has now started . In my Quora answer , some rationalists ridiculed that , to which I had just told to watch next 6 months .

But this time , this yoga is a bit interesting as it has 2 bottoms , the first we are seeing currently and another we may see within 7 months , which may be more intense .

With North Korea claiming a Hydrogen Bomb testing , Pathankot attack and 2 consecutive 7% ( Trading halted for day ) fall in highly controlled Chinese Stock Market .

There can be no better proof that astrology works and can predict in advance as you can see in second image , that it was predicted in August 2014 itself .

यथा धेनुसहस्त्रेषु वत्सो विन्दति मातरम्।

जिस प्रकार एक बछड़ा हजार गायों के बीच में अपनी माँ को पहचान लेता है, उसी प्रकार पूर्व में किये गए कर्म कर्ता का अनुसरण करते हैं॥

अगर हमारे कर्मों में आसक्ति अधिक हो , जैसे छोटे बछड़े को गाय से होती है तो वह हजार गायों के झुण्ड में भी दूध पीने के लिए अपनी माँ को ढूढ़ लेता है .

अगर हमारे शुभ कर्म अधिक प्रबल हों तो वे भी हमें ढूढ़ते हुए सौभाग्य के रूप में प्राप्त होते हैं और अगर अशुभ कर्म हों तो वे दुर्भाग्य के रूप में प्राप्त होते हैं .

कुछ दिनों पूर्व मुझे एक फेसबुक पर पोस्ट प्राप्त हुई . इसकी संक्षेप में कहानी यूं है :

एक आठ साल की लड़की अपने परिवार के साथ वडोदरा के रेल पुल के नीचे रहती थी . एक दिन एक मुम्बई जाने वाली ट्रैन उस पुल के सामने रुक जाती है और उसमें बैठा एक प्रौढ़ ऑस्ट्रेलियाई दम्पत्ति उस के नीचे रहने वाले परिवार की फोटो खींच लेता है . ऑस्ट्रेलिया पहुंच कर वह अपने मित्र से उस लड़की को भारत जा कर ढूंढने और मदद करने की इच्छा जताते हैं .

और अगले 15 दिन में यह सब कुछ सम्पन्न भी हो जाता है . पूरा परिवार एक किराए के मकान में पहुँच जाता है , बच्चे स्कूल में और पिता के रोजगार में सहयोग हो जाता है . ऑस्ट्रेलियाई दंपत्ति उनके २ साल का खर्च उठाने को तैयार हो जाते हैं , हर महीने बैंक में पैसा भेजकर .

रातों रात , बिना किसी उम्मीद और प्रयास के दूर बैठे अजनबी देश के व्यक्ति से तकदीर बदलने को और क्या कहेंगे ?

Next Decade for India ( Moon Mahadasha)

India Got freedom on Midnight of 14/ 15th August 1947 . Accordingly ,

A major change has happened in September 2015 with respect to this chart of India . The Sun Mahadasha of 6 years has ended and Moon period has started for 10 years .

Before we deliberate on Moon Mahadasha possibilities , let us summarize the earlier Mahadashas in brief :

Saturn Till 1965

In 1947-1965 period , India was busy in casting foundations of new country by building democratic institutions , big industries mostly in public sector and launching of popular schemes . Saturn relates to hardwork , scarcity , problems and also for reforms in overlooked areas .

India was developing in all spheres during this period . For example, industries, IITs, electricity boards , dams , public sector companies were set up during this period .

But defence sector was deliberately ignored by peace loving PM Nehru. Saturn does not like such lethargic attitude in any sector , so it gave a blow by Indo-China and Indo-Pak wars , which forced govt. to pay adequate attention to defence also . Agriculture was also ignored , so famines happened and govt had to take steps about grains self sufficiency.

Mercury ( 1965 to 1982 )

Mercury is a soft planet for education ,sports ,communication , importance and propaganda . So, Indians started going to western countries for higher education in this period , communication satellites and color TV transmission were launched, Nuclear explosion brought India into prominence and Asiad Games were organised . Mercury is for intellectual debates and disputes , so India faced Constitutional amendments and imposition of Emergency .

Ketu ( 1982-89)

Ketu is a headless planet and it denotes mindless violence, called terrorism. So India got introduced to this violence through Sikh terrorism which resulted in 1984 Blue Star operation, Indira Gandhi's assassination and subsequent Anti-Sikh riots . Ketu is placed in 7th house of opposition so Pakistan was behind this terrorism.

Venus (1989-2009)

Venus is lord of ascendant in India's chart , so this can be termed as best Dasha for India. Venus is planet for consumption , glamour , comfort , attractiveness .

So, this period saw India opening its economy to foreigners , which resulted into arrival of latest consumer goods , electronics ,cosmetics, textiles, jewellery, automobiles , computers from western countries . India got foreign investment in setting up new factories and companies .

Electricity production , TV Channels, Internet ,metro rail, AC trains, air travel , mobile phones saw a quantum jump in this period.

Stock market was opened and Foreign money was invested into stock markets , so it achieved new growth during Venus period. India achieved double digit GDP growth from earlier 3-4% growth , its foreign currency reserves touched 300 billion dollars while in 1991 , it had take loan on gold reserves.

On negative side , India underwent major corruption and scams during this period and Kargil war happened . Still, this can be considered golden period for India .

Sun ( 2009-2015)

Except Ketu period , All periods of Saturn, Mercury and Venus were mostly good as these planets are ascendant lord friendly .

From 2009 onward , Sun, Moon and Mars periods would not be as good because these planets belong to opposite group of Venus, the ascendant lord .

In India's chart, Sun is lord of 4th house of insults while Sun always denotes rulers , bosses etc , so this period saw public sentiments going against rulers . Scam cases were investigates against ministers , MP, MLAs for spectrum auction, coal mines, commonwealth games related scams etc.

Anti-govt. and anti-corruption movement were launched and demand for independent Lokpal bill was raised . Supreme Court became quite active and supervised all the CBI investigations. Indian PM Manmohan Singh , Congress Party and its leaders had lowest popularity rating, resulting in less than 10% seats in 2014 Loksabha elections .

So much insult was heaped on people connected with power and that gave opposition BJP an absolute majority in general elections. All that forced govt. to come up with anti-corruption and black money prevention laws and machinery .

Sun being original source of energy , solar power got the extensive support of Government of India and this is going to be main source of energy in future .

The Moon Period ( 2015-2025)

If Sun represents the sentiments of rulers of a country , then Moon denotes public sentiments . Moon is also the weakest planet representing emotions , public , happiness etc . India's chart has Moon in its own sign Cancer in 3rd house of communication , valour , neighbours , sports etc .

So, this period will have great connectivity among masses through internet for communication , entertainment and business . There will be great emotional expectations among all sections of society , resulting in excessive caste and religious movements demanding benefits for themselves .

Govt. will find it quite difficult to control such agitations. Moon being 3rd lord , which is 12th from 4th house of happiness , this period will generally cause loss of happiness for public . There can be several reasons for that .

1. Water Crisis

As Solar power was focus area in Sun dasha , so will be water , milk in Moon period.

Moon is planet for water , milk etc . Deficit and irregular rains may cause drinking water shortage , falling of ground water table, loss of irrigation may result in loss of food production , creating big pricerise for edible items .

On positive side , water conservation , rainwater harvesting , drip irrigation , river cleaning , dredging etc will get top priority and some visible changes will be there and new industries will come up in these sectors.

2. Strict Laws & Tax Compliance

The judiciary and Police system will get computerised and technology will be used extensively , making life of law breakers a hell . There will be speedy trials and pendency of court cases may be a thing of past .

There will be big increase in taxation on public and almost everything get taxed at more than 20% rate . Govt will enforce tax compliance through online monitoring and it will be almost impossible to escape taxes due to electronic surveillance and strict laws for tax defaults.

Implementation of GST , removal of exemptions in Income tax , Capital gains etc will result in increase of goods and prices , making cost of living quite high and comparable to developed countries .

There will be little jobs in govt. sector and people will not be crazy for govt jobs because of reduction in corruption opportunity , longer hours of work and huge responsibility , while salaries will be stagnating compared to private sector jobs.

Subsidies will be eliminated and very few people will be able to get them .

3. Problems with Neighbouring Countries

Moon being 3rd lord , India will have to face excessive problems with all its neighbours . They will be envious of India's progress and would expect great concessions for themselves , while leaving no opportunity to create headache for India , by hobnobbing with China , USA and other such powers , along with sheltering anti India elements .

These neighbouring countries will keep mum as long as they get money and concessional treatment but will act against India's interest clandestinely.

4. Great Development in Transport & Communication Sector

Moon as 3rd lord , will pave way for good , all weather highways , trains and air travel sector through private sector involvement on payment basis . There will be massive increase in air travel , new rail tracks and airports built . New water ways will also be made .

In communication field , we can expect huge information highways , with one data connection for everyone enabling voice , TV , video calls ,internet , online transactions anywhere in country . The TV channels, DTH and telephone companies may shut the shops .

5. Becoming Mother will become a Premium Act

Moon is for motherhood . By the Moon period end , middle class women will loathe the motherhood . Celebrity would go for surrogacy and govt. / corporations will announce major supports for those going for motherhood with long maternity leave .

6. Multinational Companies Coming in Dairies Sector

Milk is another signification for Moon . So there will be another Milk revolution in country , caused by entry of multinational companies in dairy sector .

7. Increase in Mental Sickness in Indian Population

Moon is for mind and sleep . Moon being sandwiched among 4 other planets in 3rd house ( loss of happiness) , so people will become more restless , worried , sleep deprived because of 24 hour working and waking caused b smartphones and pressure to earn .

This will lead to increase in sleep disorders, insomnia , depression , blood pressure , heat and cancer diseases. There will be higher number of suicides and divorces .

In short , Moon period though looking apparently good , positioning India in league of big nations but internally it will have more of unhappiness , stress , psychological problems compared to all previous Mahadashas.

Cheating Happens in Science & Technology Also !

Astrology is termed as hoax by Western educated persons and scientists. But scientists and technologists commit greater hoax and frauds in the name of science and technology and create multi-billion dollar business by falsely propagating benefits which are no more than a placebo effects .

This used to be done earlier in case of new drug discovery by companies , where they used to compile fake records of thousands of patients for controlled trial of new drugs without actual experiments. Many such frauds have been detected all over world by many governments. But people thought the same was not applicable to surgery procedures .

Now , even surgery process has been found having only placebo effect. Fake Knee Surgery as Good as Real Procedure, Study Finds.

A recent article published in the New England Journal of Medicine by J. B. Moseley, an orthopaedic surgeon, and others, titled “A controlled trial of arthroscopic surgery for osteoarthritis of the knee” disclosed that the much publicised Arthroscopic Surgery had no effects at all while it costed patients 55000 US$ and annually more than a million underwent such surgery.

The patients that they studied were all from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston. They recruited some 180 patients with osteoarthritis of the knee who agreed to be randomized into 1 of 3 groups: a) normal treatment, consisting of lavage and debridement, b) lavage (or saline irrigation) only, and c) a sham operation only, i.e., a nick in the skin but no arthroscopic procedure.

Their results suggested that all 3 groups were improved slightly. However, as the placebo group also improved, their conclusion was somewhat damning and extremely far-reaching. They concluded that arthroscopic surgery was obviously of no value in the treatment of arthritis of the knee.

The impact of this article on the public, the insurance industry, and the government has been significant and has raised a great deal of controversy. The conclusions reached by its authors are a good example of why research, particularly clinical research, should be subjected to peer review by experts in that specific field, and results validated, before such information is released to the public.

Pressure of earning money can make any noble profession like lawyer , doctor , teacher's job a dirty one and astrology is also plagued by this disease but that does not mean that medical and astrology sciences themselves are fake . The practitioners of profession have to be morally and ethically correct , then only the related science can truly benefit mankind and astrology is no exception to this rule !

Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam , The Ideal Saturn Personality

( My Obituary to The Great Motivator )

I never met him personally but always felt connected with him at soul level .

My first interest in his life and works started as a student of astrology. I had almost completed my 2 year Jyotish Acharya Course at Institute of Astrology , Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan , New Delhi in 2002 , when suddenly it was announced that BJP will field Dr. Kalam for Presidential post . Soon , it was clear that he will be elected without any opposition .

As a recently qualified astrologer ,those days , I used to see everything from astrological lens . So, one day there was a discussion on what might happen during his Presidential years . We had no confirmed birthchart of Dr. Kalam , so our astrology classmates were depending on his past actions and personality to guess about his future.

I said , that his personality matched more with Saturn because of his very poor origin, simple living and after all plenty of hairs on his forehead even at the age of 71 years and there being no trace of baldness. Another view was of being Rahu personality because of his scientific personality and advocacy for new things , innovation and remaining neutral about his muslim background and love for other religions.

So, the debate remained incomplete but I decided to observe his actions as President keenly. I was curious to see how a Saturn personality will fit into pomp & show post of President , represented by Sun and Leo sign. I even had two doubts on his 5 year tenure that if circumstances would not be as per his conscience , he would quit within minutes or his life may be terminated because of this contrast of Sun vs Saturn duel.

But when I saw his birth year , I got some reassurance on his life . We have 3 famous personalities who were born in 1931 . Since our astrology teacher Sh. K. N. Rao is born on 12 October 1931 , so I could know that Dr. Kalam being born 3 days after , his Jupiter is also exalted . The third personality is also world famous OSHO who was born on 11 December 1931. Saturn is in religious sign of Sagittarius in all these charts .

This way , all three personalities tried by their actions to give real picture of Dharma and preached unadulterated concepts of religion devoid of rituals and appealed to intelligent minds . All three have excellent communication and popularity .

Coming back to my first apprehension , I saw what I had never imagined and I got a lesson for my astrology consultancy how a Saturn personality can transform a Sun's place into Karma Kshetra instead of being mesmerised by power and pelf. He brought internet into Rashtrapati Bhavan . Anybody could write to him email for his problems and he was available there to solve it . District Magistrates all over the country used to get instructions to help the needy and report back .

I am personally witness to one such action when I was posted in Bihar . One of my colleagues had applied for passport in Patna and his police report had been pending in SP office for months in absence of follow up ( bribe !) . One day we discussed it and I told him that Rashtrapati Bhavan has an email address so write this to President. Within a week , the SP office called local police station and the person got a call that his police report has been sent to passport office , clearing all such pending reports immediately. Almost every other day , I read such stories about his actions for common people till he was in office .

Once I was discussing it with someone that it takes a lot of Luck Capital to get a high post like President's post but in case of Dr. Kalam , I saw that he earned more Punya Capital than what might have been spent from his account for becoming President. That inspired me in my govt. service to help the needy even if I had to fight for that with people in power .

Today , when I practice astrology and I need to refer a role model to my clients for dominant planet , for Saturn related behavioural advice to people in govt. , I have only one example to quote : Dr A P J Abdul Kalam.

Saturn likes being down to earth , being near to people , live with basic needs and even some scarcity, never have pride in one's achievements , keep working till the last breath , never get angry but find a reasonable solution and firmly implement it .

In return , Saturn will assure you work matching your calibre , basic facilities , name and fame and long life , free of sickness and hospitalisation.

Saturn is planet for Karma but that is nowhere in opposition to Dharma (duty , not religion) and its planet Jupiter and that is why such people while doing there Karma , are equally at peace with Dharma and Dr. Kalam was a personification and embodiment of both Karma and Dharma . If Saturn is steel in machinery then Jupiter is oil for lubrication of machinery , helping it run smoothly for long life.

People in govt. posts always face the dichotomy of Sun and Saturn i.e. ruling and serving at the same time . But this can be done if Jupiter gives you balancing wisdom and Dr. Kalam's whole govt. association is excellent example and I salute him for setting this example for all govt. functionaries.

2015-16 में सिंहस्थ गुरु और गुरु-चांडाल योग के फल
( Consequences of Jupiter's Entry into Leo & Jupiter-Rahu Conjunction during July 2015 to August 2016 )

On 14th July 2015 , Jupiter will enter into Leo ( Simha Rashi) sign and will remain there till 11th August 2015. This period is quite happening because it will be forming 2 special yogas in Indian astrology . First is called Simhasth Guru or when Jupiter is situated in Simha ( Leo) sign and next will be formed when Rahu also enters in Leo sign on 9th January 2016 and Guru-Rahu or Guru Chandaal yoga will be simultaneously formed.

In Indian astrology , Jupiter and Sun are considered important planets with male ego of their own . In old establishment of governance , Jupiter was the Raj Purohit or Kulguru while Sun was King . Both the posts have their own ego. The Kulguru had the wisdom and contentment so it was not after begging the King's favour and so used to live in forest in a cottage. The King had the ego of rulership from whom everybody except Guru ( Rishi-Muni) sought everything.

This way both asserted an authority on rest of public but mutually they could not assert their supremacy on each other and both maintained a safe distance. Still, depending upon emergencies , one used to visit other seeking some help and that meant that there is some weakness in one of them.

Jupiter being benevolent planet , its reaching to Sun's palace ( Leo sign) is considered the abrogation of Jupiter's authority for material benefits while the same at spiritual level had excellent meaning because Sun is considered for soul and Jupiter is for spiritualism. This way Simhastha Guru signifies Jupiter telling the King to face the realities of life instead of venturing into self aggrandisement and ego trips. In modern context , it is a contest like RBI governor Raghuram Rajan vs PM Modi or Chief Justice of Indian Supreme Court vs PM Modi to decide who will call the shots .

In earlier one year during 2014-15, during Jupiter in Cancer period, Jupiter allowed everybody the comfort and happiness by price fall in commodities but King taking credit for this natural phenomenon. So, when Jupiter starts withdrawing those perks , the governments and their heads start facing the heat and get discredited for fiasco as well.

Look over this from June 2014 till now . Our PM was busy in taking credits for all achievements single-handedly . Now he has to face the real governance issue where his skills of administration will be tested . And that is what I wrote in November 2014 in how long good days. Remember , BJP was in power during last Simhastha Guru ( mid 2003 to mid 2004 ) 12 years back , when it went for India Shining Campaign under Late Promod Mahajan and lost the power in centre in May 2004 Loksabha elections . So that is the intensity of a Simhastha Guru and this time also many such arrogant politicians will face the same fate .

On international front , "Grexit" is making news ! Jupiter being planet for Institutional Wealth ( managed by Central Banks like RBI), the Simhastha Jupiter and Guru-Rahu yoga in 2016 beginning will expose all the artificial arrangements like stimulus packages, currency printing and corporate debt restructuring .

The Greek problem will be resolved only by end of 2016 by radical reforms in Greece which are overdue since last 30 years . It does not matter whether Greece exits European Union or remains inside . Both ways , it has to swallow the bitter pill of reforms and get recovered from sickness of last many years.

The same is true for India but at smaller intensity than Greece.

China has manipulated its economy and currency most in last many years , so China is going to be the proverbial Black sheep of Guru-Rahu yoga world financial crisis and that will affect the whole world to some extent .

Being stooge to China , Pakistan will face more problems at financial front because it has also mismanaged its finances and depended on doles from Gulf and USA.

During prevalence of these Yogas in 2015-16 , the manipulating skills of high and mighty will be exposed in full public view and the real naked body will be shown to all and sundry and that is what will happen to Greece during next one year in instalments . It will happen to other countries also in various scales and only strong economies will be able to absorb such shocks.

This way Pragmatism and Reality are the hallmark of this period , particularly in administration and finance and one can ignore them only at one's own perils.

At smaller level , this yoga of Sun-Jupiter is formed Every year when Sun visits Jupiter's two signs Sagittarius ( Mid December to Mid January) and Pisces ( Mid March to Mid April) .

It is like King Dashratha visiting Guru Vashishtha in his cottage in forest. Jupiter is considered busy in King's service during these periods so not fit for material well being.

During these periods marriages are prohibited in North India in Hindus. Its effects are considered similar to Simhastha Guru but at lower scale and for shorter period. Simhastha Guru is reciprocation by Jupiter going to King Sun's palace Leo for Sun's 24 monthly visits to Jupiter's sign in 12 years.

Simhastha Guru Yoga's prominence is also confirmed by organising of a Kumbha fair in Ujjain to highlight the spiritual importance of the time .

Individually , this Yoga will mean different things to different persons, depending upon one's placement of Jupiter from natal Moonsign , strength of Jupiter in Chart and running Mahadasha and Antardasha .

But overall , everybody needs to be careful about one's investments and planning which should be based on pragmatism and reality rather than promises and charisma .

कुदरती क़हर से जूझने के फायदे

पिछले साल उत्तरखंड और इस साल कश्मीर की बाढ़ में अपार जन धन की हानि हुई है .कुदरती हादसों से नुक्सान होता है लेकिन उनसे कुछ फायदे भी होते है . मैं इस बारे में अपना अनुभव बांटना चाहूंगा . प्राकृतिक आपदाएं बता कर नहीं आतीं हैं . लेकिन इनसे जूझ कर निकलने वाले लोगों के व्यक्तित्व में एक सकारात्मक बदलाव थोड़े ही समय में आ जाता है जो कि किसी भी और ट्रेनिंग से और पैसे खर्च कर भी नहीं आ सकते . इन बदलावों में ईश्वर में आस्था सर्वोपरि है . इसके अलावा धैर्य , अभावों में रहने और जूझने की क्षमता , समय की उलटफेर करने की सामर्थ्य पर विश्वास आदि अनेक बदलाव मनुष्य के व्यक्तित्व में धनात्मक परिवर्तन लाते हैं .

10 जुलाई 2004 को मैं दरभंगा से अपने बॉस से मिलने मुजफ्फरपुर गया . बॉस को बाढ़ की भनक कुछ पहले ही मिल गयी थी सो वे पहले ही ट्रैन से कलकत्ता निकल गए थे . वहां से लौटते हुए शाम को मैंने देखा कि बाढ़ का पानी हाईवे के ऊपर से बह रहा था . मैंने ड्राइवर से पूछा तो उसने कहा कि इतना तो अक्सर यहां होता रहता है .

फिर भी मैंने घर आने पर रात में दूकान पर जा कर कुछ आवश्यक खरीदारी की और सो गया . सुबह 5 बजे शोरगुल से नींद खुली तो पहली मंजिल पर अपने घर से मैंने नीचे देखा कि मकान मालिक के घर , भूतल पर 3 फ़ीट पानी भर चुका था . शाम होते होते शहर में 6 से 8 फ़ीट पानी भर गया था . दरभंगा शहर को बाहर से जोड़ने वाली 4 मुख्य सड़कों की एप्रोच रोड बह चुकी थीं और कई पुलों के दोनों ओर नदी बह रही थी . रेल लाइन के ऊपर से पानी बहने के कारण सभी ट्रेन बंद की जा चुकी थीं . बिजली सुबह से ही हमेशा के लिए बंद हो गयी थी . होटल, दुकाने भी बंद हो चुके थे और बाहर से आये लोगों को होटल वालों ने जाने को कह दिया था . बैंक , एटी एम , सरकारी ऑफिस , अस्पताल आदि सभी बंद थे .

ऑफिस की जीप ऊँचे स्थान पर खड़ी करके , ड्राइवर जो सीतामढी का रहने वाला था , वह मेरे घर पर रुक गया . उसके बाद तो अगले 7-8 दिन पूरी प्राकृतिक दिनचर्या थी . मकानमालिक के पास एक जनरेटर था जो पानी की मोटर चलाने के काम आता था . कहीं आने जाने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं थी . घर में खाने के लिए दाल, चावल,आटा आदि था , एक गैस सिलिंडर भी था ,इसलिए सुबह शाम दोनों लोग मिलकर खाना बना खा लेते थे . एक ट्रांजिस्टर से पटना आकाशवाणी से बाढ़ की खबर सुन लेते थे , बाद में नाव से अखबार आना भी शुरू हो गया .

मेरा ड्राइवर ज्यादा पढ़ा न होने से दिनभर बोर हो कर मोहल्ले की ख़बरें इकठ्ठा करने चल देता था . पर मेरे पास अपनी ढेर सारी किताबों को पढ़ने के लिए काफी वक्त था . ज्योतिष की कुछ मौलिक खोजें मैंने उसी दौरान कीं और उन्हें लिख के भी रख लिया जो अब भी काम आतीं हैं .

सबसे आश्चर्यजनक बात यह थी कि ,जो ऑफिस वाले पटना से रोज कार्य प्रगति जानने के लिए 5-10 बार फोन करते थे, उन्होंने अगले दस दिन में एक बार भी फोन नहीं किया जबकि सबको पता था कि उस इलाके में 8-10 कर्मचारी सपरिवार फंसे हुए थे . पटना से दिन में एक दो बार एयरफोर्स के हेलीकाप्टर ऊपर चक्कर लगा के चले जाते थे . हमारे एक डीजीएम बाढ़ से पहले पटना ऑफिस के काम से गए हुए थे , वो दरभंगा में अपने परिवार के पास आना चाहते थे . लेकिन पावरग्रिड के सर्वोच्च स्तर के अधिकारियों ने भी अपने तरफ से कुछ नहीं किया ,जो बिहार के मंत्रियों के साथ सबस्टेशनों के शिलान्यास के चक्कर में दिन रात उठते बैठते थे. थक हार कर वे स्वयं पटना एयरफोर्स स्टेशन पहुंचे और अपनी व्यथा कथा वायु सेना अधिकारियों को बताकर हेलीकाप्टर से दरभंगा पहुंचे .

करीब 10 दिन बाद मैं भी मुज़फ्फरपुर से ट्रेन पकड़ने के लिए घर से ड्राइवर के साथ निकला . करीब 10 किमी तक सड़क सिर्फ पैदल या मोटर साइकिल से चलने लायक थी .और उस पूरी सड़क पर हज़ारों विस्थापित लोग परिवार सहित रह रहे थे . बीच में डेढ़ दो किमी की दो बार ओवरलोडेड नाव की यात्रा के बाद बाढ़ वाले क्षेत्र से छुटकारा मिला .

मुजफ्फरपुर ऑफिस पहुंचने पर लोकल सहकर्मियों की प्रतिक्रिया थी कि आप तो बड़ी जल्दी छूट गए और आप को तो इतने दिन ऑफिस नहीं जाना पड़ा आदि . बाद में भी किसी मीटिंग में किसी बड़े अधिकारी ने मुझसे इस बारे में कभी कोई जिक्र तक नहीं किया . लेकिन इसका फायदा मुझे अगले 8 साल तक बिहार में रहने के दौरान मिलता रहा . जब भी किसी मीटिंग में बड़े अधिकारी , काम जल्दी करने और कर्मठता के उपदेश देना शुरू करते तो मैं भी उन्हें उनकी और सरकार की उदासीनता का उदाहरण तुरंत याद दिला देता था और वे निरुत्तर हो जाते थे .

प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से मिलने वाली सीख

1. अगर आप किसी आपदा के लिए प्लान करके रहते हैं , तो या तो आप के साथ वह घटित नहीं होगी या घटित होने पर उसका आपके ऊपर ज्यादा दुष्प्रभाव नहीं पडेगा .

2. बुरे वक्त में आप कितने ही रसूख वाले लोगों या संघठन से जुड़े हों , वे आपके किसी काम नहीं आएँगे , सिर्फ आपकी अपनी बुद्धि , धैर्य ,स्वास्थ्य , आत्मविश्वास , आस्था और साहस ही आपके काम आएगा . इसलिए अच्छे समय पर इन्हें बढ़ाने का प्रयत्न करना चाहिए और अपने घर परिवार के सदस्यों को भी इसके लिए तैयार करना चाहिए न कि उन्हें सुविधाओं का गुलाम बनने देना चाहिए. जिस दिन हेलीकॉप्टर आपको रस्से से लटका कर निकालेगा या 10 किमी पैदल चलने की नौबत आएगी , उस दिन आपका स्वास्थ्य ही काम आएगा , होंडा सिटी नहीं.

3. ज्योतिष के अनुसार ,भयंकर आपदाएं शनि की स्वीकृति के बिना घटित हो नहीं सकती हैं और इस तरह की आपदा आने पर आपको शनि के शत्रु सूर्य और मंगल से मदद नहीं मिल सकती है . इसका अर्थ यह है कि अगर आप जल्दबाजी , चालाकी , अनैतिक उपायों से आपदा से छुटकारा पाने की कोशिश करेंगे तो आप और ज्यादा मुसीबत में फंस सकते हैं . सूर्य सरकारी तंत्र को नियंत्रित करता है इसलिए उससे भी आपको तुरंत मदद मिलना संभव नहीं है . शनै: शनै : आने वाला शनि जाता भी धीरे धीरे ही है , इसलिए कम से कम अगले 3-4 दिन तक यह मान कर चलना चाहिए कि हालात में सुधार संभव नहीं होगा और वर्तमान स्थिति को जितने धैर्य से काट सकें उतना ही ठीक होगा .

4. सबसे बड़ी सीख इन आपदाओं से यह मिलती है कि व्यक्ति चाहे जितने संसाधन इकठ्ठे कर ले , उसके अस्तित्व को मिटाने में समय को पल भर भी नहीं लगता . इसलिए अनैतिक तरीकों से माया इकठ्ठी करने का कोई अर्थ नहीं रह जाता है .
