Technology becomes meaningful when it makes workplaces accessible to everyone.

We are glad to see this meaningful initiative featured in the media.

On 4 August 2026, Trestle Labs collaborated with the Office of the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities under the Social Welfare Department, Government of Meghalaya, and the Secretariat Administration Department (SAD) to organise a sensitisation programme on “Assistive Technology and Digital Accessibility for Government Employees” in Shillong, Meghalaya.

Trestle Labs demonstrated how Kibo’s AI-powered assistive technology can support employees with visual impairment in accessing information independently and using it effectively in their day-to-day work.

During the programme, Shri Paul Lyngdoh handed over Kibo to SAD for official use, marking another important step towards building a more accessible Secretariat.

We sincerely thank Shri Paul Lyngdoh, Shri Swapnil Tembe, IAS, and all the dignitaries, officials and participants for supporting this initiative.

Together, we are building more accessible and inclusive workplaces.

Making knowledge accessible means ensuring every learner can read, listen and understand in the language they are most comfortable with. 📚🎧

An encouraging step towards building more accessible and inclusive government workplaces.

We were glad to collaborate with the Office of the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Social Welfare Department, Government of Meghalaya, and the Secretariat Administration Department (SAD) for this sensitisation programme.
