The worry of AI making us dumb is real!

As an engineer and software architect, I strongly believe in a mindful approach to AI. While it’s a fantastic tool for taking care of repetitive tasks, I worry that relying on it too much for complex problem-solving might dull our critical thinking skills.

Going forward, I think we need to challenge ourselves to tackle tough problems head-on before turning to AI. It should be our junior assistant, not the boss. By prioritizing our own problem-solving efforts, we can stay sharp, innovative, and ready for whatever the future throws at us. Let’s make sure we’re using AI wisely, not letting it replace our own capabilities.

The solution? AI should be a tool, not a crutch. Let’s focus on building human-AI collaboration, fostering critical skills, and ensuring transparency in AI systems.

What’s your take? How do we balance the rise of AI with the need for human expertise?
