"Sneak Peek into the world of Analytics" and "Apti Championship",

Hello people!

It's a popular saying, 'Late better than never'. And so we are here -

So you must have been aware of our kickoff event of Data Analytics Club 2020 which was, "Data Vishleshan"!
Pretty much the same as what we had last year, this year 11 teams participated and they worked on the data on different ideas of their respective choices and presented in front of a panel. Finally the top 3 teams were awarded with their certificates and medals and we are glad to share that it was great to see them work so enthusiastically and render such immense knowledge.

We are glad to announce the final Ideas selected -
1st - Sentiment Analysis of Twitter Comments, Team members - Jayasree R, Deepthi, Dinesh, Janavi Swetha, Ganesh.

2nd - Analysis of Road Traffic Injuries, Team members - Manasa Pedavalli, Santhoon P, Madhu Shalini.

3rd - Study of Forex Trading in India, Team members - Ronak Chitalia, Elizabeth Abraham, Sujit Kumar, Ayushi Mund, Ekta Chandak.

Data Analytics Club 0th Meeting
7th June 2019

A few senior club co-ordinators and the faculty mentor Dr Saisree Mangu had a meeting from 3:45pm to 4:45pm on 7th June and planned for Ice-breaking/ kick off event Data-Vishleshan to start from coming Monday ie 10th June with grand finale on National Statistics day ie 29th June 2019. { as Statistics day falls on a Saturday this time, we plan to celebrate it holding our final round Data Vishleshan on 28th afternoon}

We hope, like every year, this year too our club gets off to a great start and maintains/accelerates the momentum as go into next events such as ‘Apti Championship’ ‘Excel Guru’ ‘Sneak-peak into world of Analytics’ ‘Analytics Vidya’ ‘White talks’ and many more.. helping students to better their placement prospects.

We are proud to share that all our club co-ordinators are the first ones to get placed and in Top research/Analytics companies.

Hello Everyone,

In order to make the future managers ready to tackle the technology dominated business world, club Data Analytics of IBS-B has come up with a new initiative coined as "White Talks- Talks on future technologies by Technology Enthusiasts"

Today we had Mr. Vinod Sharma, from [Batch of 2019], delivering first White Talk on "How Blockchain is revolutionizing the world economy". He also gave deep insights on
1)Why Bitcoin is so powerful?
2)How businesses could propel using Blockchain.
3) Blockchain Use-cases
4) Hyper ledger Project: Linux

All together it was a great session and the participants had great takeaways.

Thanks to our mentor Dr. Saisree Mangu for all support.

Hello Everyone,

Glad to share the pictures from our recent Data Analytics event, which was one of the first version of itself coined as "Data Vishleshan".
In the event, Participants were asked to solve a real-time problem around them using data analytics.
We were glad to have around 10 ideas from the batch of 2020 and thus 4 teams could make it to the finals to bag the top 3 spots.
Final Ideas Selected:
1st Prize: Transgenders: Right to education & Work (Group 9, Sumitha and group)
2nd Prize: Alcohol consumption: A burning issue (Group 8, Ashish and group)
3rd Prize: A presentation on how people like to spend their Weekends (Group1, Nupur, and group)
