Itech Enterprise is binding books with spines around 6 cm thick in-house.

This Kolkata-based company has also completed a 6.5 cm-thick job involving swing and perfect binding.

Its work spans educational, commercial and institutional books, with different paper types and production requirements.

Before installing the Bindwel Blue Chip, Itech was using a single-clamp system with limitations in speed and binding quality.

Customer and publisher demand for in-house binding was increasing.

Since installing the Bindwel Blue Chip in December 2025, Itech reports improvements in speed, consistency, turnaround and output.

The final book may look trimmed correctly.
But the defect stays hidden inside.
