For Mallikarjun - growth starts with curiosity—not just about what technology can do, but about how people can use it to create something better.

One of the things that shaped his early experience at Amazon was the onboarding program for new hires. He used it as an opportunity to meet people and build lasting connections.

For anyone looking to build a career in Design Technology, his advice is to spend less time worrying about mastering one particular technology and more time learning how to prototype.
"Build something. Put it in front of people. Listen to what they need. Improve it."

Outside Amazon, he spends time exploring music technology, building small tools and instruments, experimenting with code and AI to create art, and travelling whenever he can.

Meet Gracia M - Senior SDE on Amazon's Digital Catalog team in Chennai. From Day1 at Amazon, she has been drawn to the detective work of engineering — exploring legacy systems, understanding the decisions behind them, and reimagining what's possible with today's technology.

The real growth came from navigating the tension between leadership principles — learning that differing opinions aren't about right or wrong, just different perspectives. That curiosity and patience now shape how she builds, debugs, and leads.
