It feels really good to be next to Doglapan (book by Ashneer Grover). This is my second encounter with a Shark. The first one was in-person using a cold email with LinkedIn and today, the second is in the digital space of amazon ecomm. I am not sure if I can reach to the first place but sometimes second place feels better than the first place.

2 years ago on this date, I published my first book exactly at 12:01 AM IST, after wishing Happy Birthday to my late sister. She helped me to overcome the fear of publishing my first book on my own. It was challenging. I was afraid. But I did it.

And after that there was no looking back and today on her birthday (September 11), I am sharing the first look of my 9th book “Be a Spontaneous Seller” which will be published on January 1, 2023.

In this book, I will be sharing insights on how my sales mentees by adapting to the mindset of Spontaneous Seller, are consistently generating the sales funnel of 9, 8, and 7-figure in the B2B space and closing 8-figure and 7-figure deals by using the art of spontaneity along with the modern selling skills of digital, virtual and social selling.

10 inbound leads in the last 2 weeks outside the LinkedIn network. Is LinkedIn Social Selling Dead?

I spent the last 2 weeks building and enhancing my digital presence outside of LinkedIn and the result I received 10 inbound leads worth 6-figure each.

So, is LinkedIn dead?

Of course

Not.

I may have received inbound leads with Google, YouTube, Vimeo, Pinterest and Twitter, as I was trying something new at the start of 2022, but I kept my LinkedIn profile as the call-to-action to most of my posts and videos because I firmly believe that your LinkedIn profile is like a mini-website that tells more about you and how you can help and how you have helped.

And because of an optimized and active LinkedIn profile, I was able to start the conversation with 10 new people.

LinkedIn Profile Matters for Sellers, and Sales Leaders, as it can attract and repel prospective buyers.

To some traditional sellers, sales leaders, and HR leaders, it may sound a little complex, strange or surprising because this is the modern-age selling in this digital and virtual world.

Today, buyers have more information than a seller and they are running frequent Google and LinkedIn searches to find solutions to their problems.

Buyers are consuming a lot of content and viewing the profile of sellers, vendors, companies who are appearing in the search results.

And unknowingly, many organizations and sellers are losing tons of inbound leads because of their weak digital presence.

The keywords to succeed in the new normal are Virtual and Digital and sometimes Social. The election commission of India advised political parties to go virtual and digital to interact with people and this made me curious about How many Sales Leaders, HR Leaders, C-Suite of Fortune-500, SMEs are considering Virtual Selling, Digital Selling and Social Selling as real sales channels?

And on the even dates, it shows nothing.

Therefore, stay positive, work hard to achieve your goals, and document your journey.
