In, what will be one of the biggest Indian e-commerce deals ever, flipkart.com buys Myntra.com! Flipkart will strengthen its apparel portfolio and compete more aggressively with peers like Amazon and Snapdeal through this deal. Myntra will continue to operate as a separate entity.

The deal gives Flipkart a stronger hold in the fast-growing online fashion business in India.

Post the Bangalore Vs Delhi fiasco, Zomato (kind of) makes up with this beautiful page - Collections. Launched with the intent of the user visually exploring theme based restaurants in the town, Zomato provides a new perspective on discovering restaurants - much like a pinterest board. Interesting! "The campaign gets us in touch with our own assumptions in a witty fashion, laced with dark humour, and prompts you to laugh at and loathe stereotypes in the same breath. And I guess therein lies the brilliance of this piece of communication."

The world is a funny place. We live to be distinctive and strive to fit in at the same time, adding fuel to the fire of collective stereotypes while moving forward.

But we at Truly Madly aren’t okay with the status quo.
We like to see every individual through a different lens instead of bucketing them in categories. We like meeting fun people in this funny world and figuring out what makes them stand out.
We like going against the rules.
We like breaking stereotypes.

So how to get the junta to start thinking differently? Show them the difference within themselves :)

It was with this objective that we decided to run a little social experiment and speak with Delhi boys and girls about life (not just matches ;)) and how they’ve faced generalisations while growing up. Surprisingly for them and excitingly enough for us, we hit gold!
We found Hindus who eat beef, Punjabis who love masala dosas and baniyas who aren’t businessmen (gasp!).

As our campaign gained pace, numbers multiplied and the cycle went on. We have successfully managed to curate funky and controversial stereotypes faced by real people across town and debunked them ‘like a boss’!

We are officially one step closer to breaking stereotypes in India. Yahoo!

The trending topics is based upon your interests and what topics are making waves across Facebook in general. Unlike Twitter, Facebook will display just three trending topics along with the headlines explaining why they are popular. Clicking on the trending topics will take you to posts shared by your friends or pages that are talking about that topic.
