An ATM certification can stall before the first test case runs.
For one of Guyana's leading commercial banks and payment acquirers, a Visa dual-interface ATM certification put four stakeholders on one transaction path: the bank’s ATM software, the ATM vendor, the acquirer switch, and Visa. The gaps showed up early.
A PCI PTS certificate was pending, a Visa PayWave certificate hadn’t been provided, an EMVCo contactless L1 certificate had expired, and the ICS had a mismatched reader model and a placeholder approval number.
Our consulting team worked through them in parallel.
While the vendor chased certificates, Tecto was installed, and the bank’s team and we started correcting the ICS errors before submission.
Visa test windows came in two-hour slots, so we validated one contact and one contactless test case first.
The bank ran the tests on Tecto itself with zero wasted test slots.
