♻️ NRL & Binbag Partner to Strengthen Circular Plastics & EPR Compliance

At Indian Energy Week 2026 (IEW 2026), Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Binbag Environmental Services Pvt. Ltd. to collaborate on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) activities in the post-commissioning phase of NRL’s Polypropylene (PP) Plant.

This collaboration aims to:
♻️ Build a technology-enabled, traceable and auditable plastic waste management ecosystem
📊 Enable EPR-compliant reporting aligned with CPCB guidelines
🔁 Strengthen circular economy linkages for post-consumer plastic waste
🌱 Support responsible growth of NRL’s petrochemical operations

The partnership reflects NRL’s commitment to sustainable petrochemicals, regulatory compliance, and environmentally responsible value chains, in line with India’s circular economy and plastic waste management objectives.

A proud day for us at Binbag as we signed an MoU for e-waste disposal with Assam University Silchar, in the presence of the Chairman, Assam Pollution Control Board, paving the way towards a green campus. The event saw the flag-off of the first e-waste collection truck, marking the start of our joint mission to build a circular economy.
