“In 2014, all most all major Spectrum licenses for 900 MHz which were held by Bharati Airtel and Vodafone will expire and has to be renewed. Government says there will be no automatic renewal. Bharati and Vodafone would have to buy spectrum afresh through auction. Analysts argue that Bharti Airtel and Vodafone could push valuations upwards desperately trying to hold onto spectrum in circles where they are already using"
