Why should Pan-Aadar be aligned?
PAN card is the criteria to monitor all traditions of a citizen and determine tax eligibility so the purpose of the Income Tax Department is to have one PAN card for one person.
But sometimes the situation where a single person got 2 PAN cards and the information that those people used 2 PAN cards to hide income tax comes to notice the Income Tax Department, all PAN cards made after 01-07-2017 should be done with Aadar attachment and those who have already made PAN cards should also be made with Aadar alignment. The Income Tax Department has issued an order to be linked with it.
When will the alignment start? When will the extension and fees?
Date of order for alignment: 29th June 2017
