The Project Manager candidate for a Technology Company must have good business relationship and influencing skills, deep technical aptitude, cross-group coordination, strong writing and communication skills, confident and convincing presentation style, and the ability to drive collaborative discussions and decisions with all key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Team(s) : Technical Leads, Designers and Development staff to design and build outstanding products that our customers love.
• Lead and Collaborate on product team feature and road-map planning, use-cases, prototyping and customer usage
• Regular and frequent customer contact, gathering feedback on concepts, prototypes, and work in progress.
• Communicate the road-map and strategy to customer-facing technical and sales teams. Deliver demos, videos and presentations to customers, partners, internal and external audiences
• Work with other Project Managers, Project Marketing and other business units to respond to customer situations and assess enhancement requests and requirements against business needs and long-term priorities
• Occasional travel to different client offices – approx. 10%
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
• Over 3 years in a similar or related role and total 3+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience in creation and Project Management of Software products, ideally in a agile customer-facing environment
• Significant experience in the IT industry, especially in Service Management/ITSM market and products
• Proven customer service skills with ability not just to meet, but exceed customer expectations.
• Proven ability to lead, manage and work with remote teams.
• Ability to influence team and outside partners on challenging projects/initiatives, obtain buy in, and to see the initiatives to fruition with only high-level oversight and goal-setting.
• Must be a natural leader, go-to person, able to win the respect and trust of their peer group.
• Experience with high levels of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a consistently fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Superior verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
